Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the marketplace, including browsing listings, creating an account, publishing property listings, contacting agents or sellers, using verification workflows, and participating in transaction or escrow-related workflows.

Marketplace role

The platform provides software, trust signals, listing workflows, messaging tools, verification tooling, and operational records. Unless a separately signed agreement says otherwise, the platform is not the buyer, seller, broker, attorney, lender, title office, government authority, or escrow bank.

Account responsibility

Users are responsible for maintaining accurate account information, protecting login credentials, and promptly reporting suspicious activity. Users may not impersonate another person, create misleading accounts, bypass verification controls, scrape the platform without authorization, or interfere with the security or availability of the service.

Listings and property information

Sellers, agents, and developers are responsible for the truthfulness, completeness, and legality of listings they publish. The platform may require identity, ownership, authorization, location, photo provenance, and other verification evidence before a listing is promoted, published, or allowed into a transaction workflow. The platform may remove, hide, downgrade, or flag listings that appear fraudulent, misleading, stale, duplicated, unsafe, or non-compliant.

Verification and trust signals

Badges, scores, photo provenance signals, location evidence, social-channel checks, and moderation outcomes are platform risk signals. They are not legal opinions, title guarantees, valuation guarantees, or promises that a transaction is risk-free. Buyers should perform their own diligence and use qualified professionals where appropriate.

Payments and transactions

Any payment, deposit, reservation, escrow, or transaction workflow must follow the instructions shown inside the platform or in a separately signed agreement. Users should not pay based on messages from unverified social accounts, private chats, or off-platform instructions. The platform may pause, reject, or review a transaction if fraud, sanctions, eligibility, ownership, identity, or payment risk is detected.

Diaspora and foreign-buyer considerations

Users buying from outside Ethiopia or declaring foreign ownership eligibility may be asked for additional information. Eligibility, payment, tax, title, land-use, residency, and regulatory questions may require independent legal or professional advice.

User content and communications

Users grant the platform permission to host, process, resize, moderate, translate, analyze, and display content submitted for marketplace purposes. The platform may retain audit logs, verification records, transaction records, and fraud-prevention records as needed for safety, compliance, dispute handling, and operational integrity.

Availability and changes

The service may change over time. Features may be added, removed, limited, or paused for security, compliance, operational, or product reasons. The platform may suspend access where necessary to protect users, investigate abuse, comply with law, or maintain service reliability.

No professional advice

Information shown on the platform is for marketplace operations and user education. It is not legal, tax, investment, valuation, engineering, surveying, or government advice.

Contact

For support, legal notices, or account questions, use the official support channel shown on the platform. Always verify official channels on the verified-channels page before trusting messages that claim to represent the platform.

This baseline is informational operating text and does not constitute legal advice. Counsel must review and approve final launch terms before public production use.
